In 2022, the Kupiškis Ethnographic Museum began a project to publish the in Lithuanian and English the memories of older residents about the town’s Jewish community. The was enhanced by asking local art students to create illustrations for the book.
The book was published in September 2023. With the museum’s permission, the book is posted here.
The picture on cover of the book is a work entitled, “Žydų pastatai” (“Jewish Buildings”), which was created by Augustė Žalkauskaitė, a 16-year-old student at Kupiškis Art School.
